A Special Two For One Episode!

Thea Lobo’s performances have been described as excellent, impeccable, impressive and stunning. Thea has been featured with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Northwest Florida Symphony, The Shakespeare Concerts, Handel & Haydn Society, Europäisches Musikfest Stuttgart and many more orchestras and ensembles. She also performs with pianist Eunmi Ko as the Songeaters as well as their collaboration on The Indictus Project. , a program to bring unsung, unheard, untold, unnamed, unmentioned music to the world.

Her dedication to new music, art song, and early music has seen her featured on True Concord’s 2016 Grammy winning recording of Stephen Paulus’s ‘Prayers & Remembrances’, invited to the Carmel Bach Festival as an Adams Fellow, a prizewinner at the Bach Vocal Competition for American Singers, a grant recipient of the Julian Autrey Song Foundation and winner of the St. Botolph Club Emerging Artist Award.


Debbie Lifton has a rich and expressive voice and is emerging as one of today’s most compelling performers of contemporary American opera and song. Debbie has appeared as a soloist in Bernstein’s Songfest at Aspen Music Festival, Beth in “Little Women”, Into the Woods and Little Red Riding Hood with Natchez Opera Festival and Elle in La Voix Humaine with Kitchen Theater in New York among many other appearances. Winner of the Joy in Singing Competition, Ms. Lifton’s work has been honored by the National Federation of Music Clubs, the David Adams Art Song Competition and the Hellenic Foundation.

Debbie is also the Founder and Artistic Director for College Audition Advantage. A program that prepares young opera and musical theater singers with the technical and artistic tools for success. Deborah creates a studio environment that promotes interactive learning and creativity, and tailors her approach to the particular needs of each individual student.


Both Thea and Debbie have a deep appreciation for the art of creating and performing lasting music and strive to share it with the world. They perform throughout the world and are highly respected among their musical peers and supporters of great music.
